SURVIVING CHRONIC ILLNESS THROUGH STRENGTH
I have pondered the question, what are the qualities one needs while living with a chronic illness. There are seven qualities that I can think of that have helped me to overcome the struggles I face. One of the qualities, resilience, I have posted about previously. You can read it here. Today I want to share another one of those qualities, strength.
SURVIVING CHRONIC ILLNESS THROUGH STRENGTH
What is strength? Strength is being able to forge ahead when everything around you seems to be falling apart. Strength is not blaming others for your plight. Strength is doing your best and not giving up. Strength is silence in the face of judgment and criticism. Strength is doing what you know is right even if it goes again others’ recommendations. Strength is standing up for your belief. Strength is not giving in to weakness. Strength is telling the truth. Strength is sharing your story. Strength is crying. Strength is saying you’re sorry. Strength is accepting an apology. Strength is moving forward. Strength is letting go. Strength is overcoming. Strength is taking action. Strength is creating new dreams.

Another Great post Alanna.
It’s nice to see others working through their adversities sharing with others. Not many people would share things this personal but it works in your favor because there is strength in showing your whole self tot others. I’ve enjoyed browsing your site and learning about KLS. Kudos to you!
I’ve overcome so much and I am so much stronger for it! 🙂 Great post!
